Punjabi: pronunciation of ਹ

Hello!
I have never really ascertained that and I am confused.
Is the Punjabi ਹ actually mostly pronounced as 'h', as in ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ? or is it silent?

No, it is not silent. It has a proper full value. Having said all this, I have always felt that the Punjabi "h" is distinct from Urdu/Hindi h as in the word "haDDii" (bone) common to all three. I pronounce this word in Punjabi differntly than I pronounce it in Urdy. If Sanskritic visarga is a voiceless h, then the Punjabi h is a voiced h.
