put a deposit down on the reception hall

Hi,

A woman who is going to marry in a few days has to be a juror. She's freaking out in the court of law and starts to yell whatever goes through her mind :

"I have things to do today ! I can't do this today ! I haven't even put a deposit on the reception hall !"

Must I understand :

"Je n'ai même pas mis une tirelire à la réception!"

or

"Je n'ai même pas donné un acompte à la réception" ?

Note that justice department put her away in a hotel during the trial.

I think it is more "Je n'ai même pas donné de caution pour la salle de réception" or "Je n'ai même pas donné d'accompte pour la salle de réception" meaning she hasn't booked the reception hall for her wedding yet. But I'm not sure at all!
