put/moving/taking a someone in car

I saw a police man who captured a someone and was taking him to car.
Can I say, Policeman put a someone in a car?
Or is t better to use moving/taking a someone in a car ?

    I would say these.

    The policeman is putting someone in a car. = You see the policeman using his hands to physically put someone into a car.

    The policeman is taking someone to a car. = You see the policeman escorting someone to the car, and then, he puts the person into the car.
