Hi, I'm trying to write this sentence but I'm not sure if this sounds like English. Any suggestions?
Trained and qualified personnel for positioning or parking a dump truck for unloading the material it transports.
Thanks

    Hi isabel,

You could perhaps improve it like this:

Trained and qualified personnel for positioning or parking a dump truck and for unloading the material it transports.
The lack of a main verb is troublesome - okay perhaps as a bulletpoint or field description though ;)

    Cheers

Your sentence isn't actually a sentence, Isabel; it sounds to me as if you might be trying to write a line in an advertisement seeking such people.

I think we would probably say: Trained and qualified personnel to position/park dump trucks for unloading. It would be understood that the trucks would be unloading whatever they had transported.
