When one ends a list of items with "e quantaltro" is it like saying "and such" or "various other things"?

Example:
....pasticcini, salatini e quantaltro...

Thanks

No, it is not stuffy, but it is hackneyed.

In my opinion the use of quant'altro as a relative pronoun is fine, while it is to avoid its use as and so on.

    Does it make any sense?:)

I think I understand Elisa, so the example that I started with is not the best place the use “quant’altro"

Yes, here you could simply put ....e altro, ...e così via.
