Quilt vs blanket


Hi, i want to know what is the differences between a quilt and a blanket? Thanks for any answer

    A blanket consists of a single sheet of one type of material.

    A quilt usually padded. It typically consists of two layers of fabric, with padding material in between, sewn together in a pattern of squares (or some other shape). A patchwork quilt can be made by sewing together lots of small squares.
