French to English rebondissement

Under the entry rebondissement, you have the example sentence "Il y a eu un rebondissement au milieu du procès" which you have translated as "There was an unexpected development in the middle of the process." I believe that is a translation error. The word procès would mean "trial, lawsuit." Unless you meant "preceedings" which would make sense, but "process" would be translated by processus.
