Hello

What is the most suitable verb to use in this context
It is sometimes difficult for women to reconcile/conciliate family life with work

I think "reconcile" is fine, but I'm in doubt about "conciliate"

thanks

You need "reconcile", because the context is finding a balance between two conflicting or opposing things.

I'm afraid "conciliate" doesn't really work there. :(

    I agree with Donny.

I might use an alternative wording: It is sometimes difficult for women to find/strike a balance between family life and work.

EDIT: I guess Donny said that also.

(Props to Donny, though ... I didn't realize what was being said in #2. :tick: Donny uses "balance".)
