reject it beforehand

Hi. Is this usage of beforehand idiomatic? I mean to say we cannot reject one's theory because it's too short without analyzing it first.

Although she briefly discusses her view just in a few sentences this cannot count as a reason for rejecting it beforehand.

Thank you.

I don't find beforehand idiomatic here. The phrase I would use is out of hand (meaning without further examination).
I assume this is your sentence.
