Hi,

I need to know how to translate "related funding" in next context:

Before the adoption of IFRS, many local Generally Accepted Accounting Practices allowed full deduction of securitised assets an related funding from originating banks balance sheets.

"And related funding"? "from originating banks' balance sheets"? If so, it means that you can counted the funding as being similar to the asset and account for it in the same way. In other words you could put both the asset and the liability you took on to fund it (eg a loan or something similar) off the balance sheet.
