renoncer à cette réception

Bonsoir,
j'ai du mal à traduire "renoncer à" dans ce contexte :

Si l’acheteur renonce expressément ou tacitement à cette réception, les biens seront réputés livrés conformément à la commande.

Ma tentative :

If the purchaser expressly or impliedly refuses this receipt, the goods shall be considered delivered, in accordance with the order.

Merci !

i believe you to mean that if the purchaser declines to sign the confirmation of delivery, the goods shall be considered to have been delivered - if this is correct, in american english, it is important to specify that signing/written confirmation is expected - i believe that in french, réception implies some acknowledgement of receipt - not so for the english reception - so if my understanding is correct, you might say something like: “If the buyer declines or refuses to sign a confirmation of delivery, the goods will be considered delivered and the order fulfilled."

Is "waive" the good verb here?
    Does this sound good?

If the purchaser expressly or impliedly declines to acknowledge receipt of the goods, the goods shall be considered delivered, and the order fulfilled.

    Thanks!
