Responsable des achats du foyer

Hello everyone,

I'm a junior research executive and part of my job is to translate the reports we write for our clients.
I can't find anywhere a proper translation for "responsable des achats du foyer" and I don't think "responsible for the purchases of the household" is correct.
Does anyone have an idea which is the proper word or expression?

Thanks,

Belette

I don't think English has a word that works just like responsable does in French.

I think that, in this case, responsible can be used but I would lean towards lady byron's suggestion of in charge.

The person responsible for household purchases or the person in charge of household purchases. [Note that I would not use the before household purchases.]
