Restful wakefulness.

Hi everybody, I'm translating a text about stages of sleep into Spanish but I'm having trouble with this sentence: "the EEG (electroencephalogram) pattern of restful wakefulness is characterized by predominance of alpha power activity (8-12 Hz)."

I'm confused. Some friends have told me that "restful wakefulness" means "sueño reparador", but I think that would be "repairing dream" or "restful sleep." "Wakefulness" means "vigilia", so probably it would be something like "vigilia reparadora"? Although I don't find any example of that in Spanish.

    Thank you all :)

I found it as "vigilia tranquila" compared to "vigilia activa". You are right, "sueño reparador" is something completely different (to sleep enough in order to wake up feeling refreshed).
    Look at this text:
Vigilia tranquila: Niño quieto, pero con ojos abiertos y activos. Vigilia activa: Niño activo, con muecas faciales y movimientos corporales ( › Recién Nacido)
