Estoy buscando la forma de transmitir en inglés la idea de un alimento nutritivo o una bebida alcohólica fuerte que hace a la persona reaccionar, "revivir", como ilustra la expresión española "esto resucita a un muerto".

¿Existe una expresión idiomática similar en inglés (this can raise the dead)?

La frase es: "Tómate esto, te hará bien. Esto resucita a un muerto". La otra persona se lo toma y dice: "Sí, ya me siento mejor".

    One way:
    -Drink this, it'll do you good. It will bring you back to life.
    -Yeah, I feel better already.
     
    "Raise the dead" is an idiomatic expression in English*, so you can use either that or Gengo's sugggestion.
    "Drink this. It'll do you good. This could raise the dead."

    *An example occurs in the Johnny Rivers song Seventh Son lyrics "Heal the sick, Raise the dead, Make little girls talk outta their head."
