"The Contractor is currently or may be retained as an independent contractor with the Employer for the position of: Animator"
¿Contratado? ¿Representado?
o

"This Agreement will automatically terminate on the date that the Contractor's Retainer with the Employer terminates or expires, as the case may be."
¿El contrato del contratado? ¿Representante del contrato?
o
"In addition to this responsibility or position (the "Retainer"), this Agreement also covers any position or responsibility now or later held with the Employer."

    English - USA (medical & legal)
    "The Contractor is currently or may be retained as an independent contractor with the Employer for the position of: Animator"
    Retained = contratado

    "This Agreement will automatically terminate on the date that the Contractor's Retainer with the Employer terminates or expires, as the case may be."
    Retainer = contrato. There's a difficulty with "agreement," "contractor" and "retainer," because agreement would be "acuerdo" o "contrato, contractor would be contratado, and retainer would be "contrato." So there's an issue of repetition of terms in Spanish.

    "In addition to this responsibility or position (the "Retainer"), this Agreement also covers any position or responsibility now or later held with the Employer."
    This is more ambiguous. It seems as if retainer is being used as "contrato" or "puesto" here. And there is an overlap between retainer and agreement in the original English. Not a well-drafted document.

    Muchísimas gracias Peter, realmente me ayudaste mucho, y si al traducir todo el documento, lapalabra contrato era la que mejor quedaba y lamentablemente pude observar que el documento tenía fallas de redacción.
