ribbon trail

    I cannot make up my mind about Russian translation of a ribbon trail in cooking:

    Using an electric hand whisk, whisk the mixture over a medium heat until doubled in volume and pale in colour. The mixture is at the right stage when it forms a ribbon trail when the whisk is lifted out of the mixture. Remove from the heat.

    Is there any Russian equivalent for that? thank you

    I suppose something like "непрерывная струйка/струя"

    Как бы не ровно наоборот - не струйка, а тянущаяся полоска, не знаю, как это по-русски называют. Во всяком случае, когда тесто течет с венчика струйкой, запекать меренги точно нельзя, масса должна быть достаточно плотной и не текучей.
