What do you call the husked rice grains that are semi-boiled and pressed to be flat like flakes? semi-boiled rice flakes?

I'll suggest that you don't need the entire production process in the final name -- so perhaps you can drop "semi-boiled" and just call them "rice flakes." This suggestion comes from years of experience in having bran flakes for breakfast. The name doesn't tell me what they did to the bran to get it flaky... it just describes the stuff in my bowl. Besides, "semi-boiled rice flakes" gives me the impression you've taken rice flakes and parboiled them, which is not what you mean.
