richness / rich resources

Hello,

Could you help me with the sentence structure of this sentence? Also, I'm not sure which highlighted word sounds better.

The richness/rich resources of the country attract businessmen, who are interested in establishing business here, from different parts of the world.

Thanks!

"Rich resources" definitely sounds better. "Richness" seems to be reserved for tastes and fabrics and such; it is not, I think, a commonly used word in this context (having been replaced by "wealth").

    Guzhi,

Do you have a little leeway in what you want to say?

    Another suggestion, if you do:

The rich, economic resources of the country attract an impressive number of businessmen from different parts of the world, interested in establishing a lucrative base of operations here.
