"Rogue cells" indica cellule anormale, trasformate, "non sotto controllo", anomole.
Ho trovato "cellule precancerose" con lo stesso significato.

Grazie Tim. "Cellule anomale" mi sembra plausibile (vedo che su Google è sempre riferito a casi di oncologia). Qualcuno che mastica medicina me lo conferma?

It seems, "abnormal" is a general / common term here ("Cancer is the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells. These rogue cells invade and destroy healthy tissues around them").

Another option could be "neoplastic cells" (read here)
