I'm trying to translate this sentence, which was found inscribed on the furnace of a house in Lugano, Switzerland. We think it's in Romansch: "Viver dessat scocha tu morind volessast avair vivia." I think it means something like "Live in such a way as you, dying, would wish to have lived." Can anyone help? The part that is particularly troubling is the "dessat scocha." Thank you.
