rubble/debris

Hello everyone,

Could you help me to differenciate these two words?. Here is the context:

"The rescue workers found them both unconscious under a pile of debris."

Debris; remains of something destoyed.

I have no context for Rubble but I guess that it is specifically "Rubbles from any work, bricks". And "Debris" may include many others materials, stuff, etc...

Thanks in advance.

    I think you've understood it.
    rubble...broken bricks, stones, rocks
debris...the remains of other broken stuff, plastic, metal, ceramics, glass, wood, etc, etc.
