    Hi everyone!
    What does Rugby (it's even written with a capital letter) mean to you in this context?

    "He could not walk into this ivy-clad red building -a fake Rugby like so many minor schools of its period- with the sang-froid of one who had never been there before"

    It doesn't make sense to me, and the word Rugby does not refer to anything previous.
    The main character is entering his old school.

    The architecture is faked to look like the style used at the Rugby school with its fine and graceful Georgian architecture.
