Hi dear friends of the forum,

I'm hesitating whether rumbling or rumble is right in the below example, could somebody help me out?

Can you please stop the rumbling at the back of the room because It has become unbearable.

    Yes, in context rumble is a noun. Your sentence could read:
    Can you please stop the rumble at the back of the room because It has become unbearable?
