    Hello Ernest
Thank you so much for translating the first 4 lines of this song. I tried all day yesterday to find someone and eventually have. Would you be kind enough to translate the last 4 lines of the song:
    S'altre dia jo mirava
    es camp de San Julià
per qui hi via de llaurar
    es qui alegria em donava

    Again many thanks
    Regards

hello linguabank, this should present no significant problem...

    the other day
    I was looking
    the fields of San Julià
because the one who had to plough there
was the one who made me happy

    Hello again Ernest
Thank you very much again for translating the last 4 lines of the song. I heard this on Private Passions (Radio 3) and was very taken by the tune. You have been very kind and prompt
    Regards

No bother! Mind you, this song is from the Balearic Islands, most likely, the dialect is Balearic, that's for certain. My translation was just approximate, by the way, but I think it shows what the song is all about.
