    As an added note, any word ending with an "s" sound must be pluralized with "-es," even if the last letter is s, x, c, or whatever other letter might make an "s" sound...:p

    (I should probably add, too, that there are always exceptions to the rules. The one that came to mind immediately was "parenthesis and parentheses" or any-thesis/theses word.)
