Dice "Fletcher and the birds found Porcupine stretching and scritch-scratching in his bed of leaves" (El puercoespino esta recien despertando). Como se traduce "scritch-scratching" ya que este termino se usa mucho en literatura infantil. Gracias.

Es simplemente una manera más 'infantil' de decir scratching - es decir, se acababa de despertar el puercoespín y se estaba rascando.

I guess you could use the diminutive: "se estaba dando una rascadita". Other than that, I don't think so...
