se ha quedado muy buena tarde

    Hola,

    cuando durante el día ha hecho un día un poco feo y por la tarde se queda despejado y muy agradable, decimos "se ha quedado muy buena tarde" ¿Cómo se diría eso en ingles?


    now the weather is nice unlike this morning that was awful.

    I agree 99% with sound shift. I would have said "It turned out to be a nice day after all."
    ("After all" alludes to the not-nice beginning of the day.)
