Can someone help me with that phrase:
"Il ne faut pas se voiler la face"
What is the english translation?

Is it some kind of idiomatic expression?
Sorry,my french is quite poor.
Thanx in advance :)

"It is not necessary to conceal (veil) one's face."

"Face" seems a little odd in the French there, maybe a native can comment. Usually, I'd expect to see "visage" instead.

Perhaps also, "it is not necessary to conceal the surface of something."

Se voiler la face = se mentir à soi-même.

An English translation could be something like: We can't be in denial of such and such, We shouldn't drape ourselves in the veil of denial of such and such.

Literally it means "to hide one's face" as if you don't want to see something which figuratively means you don't want to face and acknowledge something.
