Hi all. I don't fully understand what this phrase means. The context is from 'Scusa ma ti chiamo amore' (excuse me, but I call you 'love') by Federico Moccia, chapter sixteen.

Due persone stavano dicendo da una donne che un tempo fa parte dalla suoi ufficio in qualita di staff manager, la quale aveva prodotto molti successi.

Two people are talking about a woman that was once part of their office as the staff manager, who produced lots of successes.

"... Stavamo seduti con lei"
"Si, ho capito, ma con lei noi abbiamo sempre vinto. Seduti ma abbiamo vinto".

"We we seated with her".
"Yes I know, but with her we always won. ?? Seduti = literally 'we were seated' Guess> We worked our asses off ??, but we won".

Hi, I can't either understand what he means. Maybe that they never actively participated to this successes? The office always but the 2 people talking never done anything to win? They just observed everything?

Ciao. Neanche io capisco bene. Forse vuol dire che non hanno mai partecipato attivamente a questi successi? Hanno sempre vinto come ufficio, ma le due persone in questione non hanno mai dovuto fare niente?
