See (a modo de aclarar)

Estoy escribiendo un texto en inglés y luego de hacer una serie de afirmaciones, quiero aclararlos, comenzando la frase de la siguiente forma:
"See, it was not possible to increase production..."

Pero, creo que el término "See" es demasiado informal. Me suena demasiado parecido a decir en español "Lo que pasa, es que..."
¿O está bien? ¿Qué otras alternativas existen?

    Tienes razón. En la lengua escrita, este "See" queda demasiado informal. Para poder proponer alternativas, habría que saber algo del contexto. Sobre todo, convendría poseer la frase anterior.

    El contexto es sobre la capacidad productiva de una empresa para un producto A. La frase es:
    "Product A's demand increased accordingly, as households could afford it more and more. Unfortunately, because of the process required to manufacture A, their productive capacity was insufficient. See, it was not possible to increase production due to..."
    Espero esto ayude a clarificar.

    If you are writing a speech then you could say "So you see..."

    If you are writing a text that will be presented in printed form then I suggest you say "...was insufficient. So, it was not possible..."

    I think I was so set on finding the perfect word that I did not think of alternatives.
