    Hola: I don't know in Spanish, but you would see something through if you check to make sure that it is being accomplished.

    If the context is that you said to a child as a punishment, "You must stay in this classroom while the other children are playing," you would see it through if you checked every few minutes to make sure that his punishment was actually being enforced, that he was still in the room and not playing.
