sell out

Hi, everybody! Help, please? I'm not quite sure about how to translate sell out in this case:

Context: (advantages and disadvantages of the different styles for handling conflicts in a business).

Collaborating can be harmful if you sell out some "must-have's" for the sake of a win-win solution.

(Note: "must have" goals, appeared earlier in my text, I'm not quite sure I am correct in its translation either. Any comments, welcome).

My try:

Colaborar puede ser perjudicial si traiciona algunas metas imprescindibles por llegar a una solucion donde todos ganen.

Any suggestions, pretty please?...or maybe I am right? Thanks in advance.

"sell out" doesn't sound right (at least to my English ears).

    Possibly what is meant is:
"Colaborar puede ser perjudicial si sacrifica algunas metas..."

Thanks, Masood! Indeed I find weird the use of sell out in this case. But you just gave me the word I was looking for! Love you!
