Hello everyone,
it seems to me the following sentence isn’t right:

“I received several texts, corrected them and sent it back to the author”. Is it possible to use “send back” or “send away”, meaning “return”? Are there special shades of meaning?

Many thanks in advance.

'Send away' doesn't have the idea of sending it back to the same person. 'Send back' and 'return' are the same.
