sensibile per le persone

Hi everyone,
For some reason I'm going crazy with this sentence:

Use in the presence of electromagnetic interference (that can be felt by people/affect people?) is forbidden since it can affect the machine.

I'm just not sure how "sensibili per le persone" ties in with the electromagnetic interference.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Oops, sorry. I did forget the context. :(

It's a manual for a piece of machinery that cuts tires and this particular sentence comes from the list of things that cannot be done with the machine or in the general area where the machine is located.

Sorry, but the original sentence still doesn't make any sense to me as I can't see how electromagnetic interference that can affect people could possibly affect also a piece of machinery that cuts tyres.
