What is the difference between sensible and sensitive? What kind of people do you say sensible or sensitive? The two words are very confusing!

  • Hi, Bosun
I see your problem since the WRD doesn't clarify.

    Generally speaking:

Sensible means "logical" or "for good reason."

Sensitive means to have acute feeling, either literally as in the case of a sensitive rash on the skin or more abstractly, e.g. "He is sensitive about the feelings of his friends."
