— Slušaj ti, ako ne bude sve kako treba i ako me obrukaš pred svetom, ne izlaz'te mi pred oči ni ti ni ovaj ciganski brabonjak; potopiću vas u Drinu, kao slepu štenad.

How should we understand "kao slepu štenad" grammatically?

Well, I realized that štene and štenad are somehow different, not simply singular and plural, because štene is neuter, but štenad is feminine. And yes, because we think štenad as accusative singular (collective noun), it's grammatically correct. I get it well. Hvala. :)
