Hello -- could someone please tell me how to translate "serte" into English? It seems like "to be yours" but I also know that's "ser tuyo." Thanks!

Quiero serte sincero----> I want to be sincere with you

Serte sincero es lo que quiero--> Being sincere is what I do want
(Though this one is quite an odd building)

It's a compound construction of verb plus pronoun.

    ser + te = serte

It means that I want to be (something) for you or to you, as in Gizmo's example.
