settle in

Hi, I need some help:
Could I translate "I settled in with the women" with "Mi trovavo bene con loro"?
Considering the context it fits well. Could it be acceptable?

    Welcome to the forum!

"Settle in" in this context could have two meanings.
The first would be "felt comfortable with", as you have well translated it.
The other would be "moved in with" - (living with).

A little more context would help, but I think it means the first one, as you have translated.

thanks a lot; in this context it is certainly the first one as they are not moving or changing anything in their way of living. Sorry not to give much about it, but I just needed a confirmation. It's just that kind of sentences left alone in the text and no dictionary gave that solution.
