In a text about colon cancer it says "Later on, the choice of third-line may become critical. In this setting, while strong data support the use of EGFR-inhibitors,evidence suggesting potential benefit from retreating patients with EGFR-inhibitors is more shaggy or under investigation"

What is it the meaning of "shaggy" in this sentence?? I have no idea!!!
Here "retreating" = to treat again, isn't it?

    Thanks for your help!!

No es evidencia concreta o sea que hay que probarlo mas para llegar a una conclusion firme.
    Evidencia poco probada o demostrada.

Yes, it is (tuve que leerlo dos veces para entenderlo). Lo escribiria re-treating para evitar la confusion.

Also, the use of `shaggy` seems strange, given the scientific nature of the text.
