She cycles/is cycling(Present Tense VS Present Continuous)

Senior Member
Which one is used, "cycles" or "is cycling"?

1). Simon and Sylvia are staying in a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales this month. The cottage belongs to a cousin of Sylvia's but the cousin is away, she cycles/is cycling around Norfolk for a few weeks. Simon and Slyvis often use the cottage when Syvis's cousin is away. They really are enjoying being in the middle of countryside.

Thank you very much.
