she has aches and pains

If somebody says that " there is nothing serious she just has aches and pains"
can somebody please tell me the meaning of this sentence and the exact difference between ache and pain

    If the woman is older, the aches and pains may be caused by arthritis. If she was younger and in an accident, she may have bumps and bruises. In either case, the pain is not unexpected and there's not much that can be done about it.

    "Aches" are usually low-level diffuse but constant pain, while "pains" are sharper, more localized pain. It is more typical for joints or bones to ache, while pains are more often in soft tissue or muscle. It's a little more complicated than that, but I think that's a good general rule of thumb.
