a)she had seen you
b)she had seen me (Answer Key)
c)I saw you
d)she saw me

I think option D (she saw me) can also work in the test. Am I right? We have two answers, right?

    D is the way I would say it, but some will insist that the tense should be shifted back from the past tense, as used in the direct quote, to the past perfect.
