Hello everyone

Does this sound like good English?

Is there a better way of expressing this idea?

It features in this sentence:

'She took a serious approach to self-tuition: she habitually read specialist publications on gynaecological issues and attended hospital-wide conferences'

Hello Schweet. It all sounds fine to me ... except for hospital-wide conferences ~ which sounds to me like conferences held in all areas of the hospital:confused::confused:
