Bonjour,

Je ne comprends pas bien le sens de "short-timer" dans ce contexte:
The CFO of one of our clients was intrigued with sustainability but the president of this closely-held private business was planning to sell the company in the next few years. He had a short-timer attitude.

Quelqu'un peut m'aider? Merci beaucoup :)

    I've never heard this (hyphenated) word. I've heard "short-term," and frankly, "short-termer" would make a lot of sense here. Maybe it's specifically related to business and business enterprise?

    En fait je pense que le sens, c'est que cet homme savait qu'il allait quitter son entreprise, et du coup il agissait sans vraiment se soucier des conséquences à plus long terme, vu qu'il ne serait plus là! Mais comment exprimer cela en une phrase pas trop longue?? Merci :)
