Hi, everyone!
Lately I've been struggling a lot with new football terminoids coming from analytics companies like Opta Sports, as I do some translations on everything football. Could anyone from Britain explain what is meant by "Shots from 17", "Goal from 17", "Shots from 18", "Shots from 64 or 63" and "Goal from 64 or 63"? What do these numbers refer to - distance from the goal, player position, a particular zone on the pitch? The expressions were used to describe the roles of a striker (17) and a hold-up forward (18, 64 and 63).
Thank you!
