Hi all, I'd like to find out which construction is correct or more natural. :)

You should also do the work.
You also should do the work.

We should also discuss the matter.
We also should discuss the matter.

Many thanks! :)

I am curious about your meaning of these ambiguous sentences. Which does the first sentence mean?

    A) You should read the book, and you should also do the work.
    B) Tommy is doing the work. You, also, should do the work.

The second pair of sentences has the same problem: does "also" modify "we" or "discuss"?
