Hi All,

In our area of the Midwest and in the context of this announcement, we understand "Home Visit time" to refer to some date of the parents choosing in the school year when the teacher will go to the home of the child to visit the child and family. This announcement deals with what will happen at the beginning of the year orientation. The following is the sentence I'm attempting to translate:

"Parents will take their child to the classroom for childcare and sign up for a Home Visit time with their child’s teacher."

    sign up = inscripción

hope it works for you ;)
