Hello,

1. Father has been teaching us history since 8 o'clock of the evening.

Does the above sentence seem right, And, Is it imperative to put an article ''THE'' with ''Evening''?

You can say "Father has been teaching us English since 8 o'clock in the evening," but it didn't sound quite right to me because we're talking about this evening.

"...of the evening" -> This is very old fashioned English. You sound as if you are 200 years old :D. Do not use it.

As per copyright -> Idiomatic: "Dad/Our father has been teaching us history since 8 o'clock this evening." (In fact, you do not need "this evening" at all - it will be obvious that it was not "this morning.")
