Can you give the translation of 'single-handed', and an example?

Sorry. I haven't got any context; it appears in asolation.

Can't give a translation unfortunately, but it means alone, without assistance. E.g:

Donald Duck was the first person to sail round the world single-handed

A: Did you know John's wife left him over a year ago?
B: Yes, and he's managed to look after those three children single-handed

Bruce Lee killed all those baddies single-handed

Does that help? Can you now provide the translation?!

    It´s like ¨solo, sin ayuda¨.

    Saludos.

Yes, Dave, it helps a lot.

I guess you could translate it into solo, a solas o en solitario, depending on the sentence.

    Thanks

I have almost always seen it as an adverb ending in "-ly". Example:
    She single-handedly raised three children.
The knight single-handedly killed all the kingdom's enemies.

Quite correct! In all three of my examples above single-handed is being used as an adverb, but both versions are acceptable as the adverbial form. There is no adjectival form.
