Rich7 has been off-line since before my last post. The relevant text is:

As the USA criticized Chevez's moves against private proverty, the stock market lost almost a fifth of its value on Tuesday, debt prices tumbled to a six-week low and the currency changed hands at nearly twice the official rate.
Quoting from the English section of Wynn Mathieson's post:
This means that they fell to their lowest point in six weeks.

    Hello Rich,

Here is a paraphrase. Let us know if anything is unclear.

As the USA criticized Chevez's moves against private proverty, the stock market lost almost a fifth of its value on Tuesday, debt prices tumbled to a six-week low and the currency changed hands at nearly twice the official rate.
As the USA criticized the actions taken by President Hugo Chavez against private ownership, the [Venezuelan] equities market lost nearly twenty percent of its value on Tuesday, the prices of [public/state/municipal] bonds fell to their lowest level in six weeks, and [Venezuelan] currency was [privately] being exchanged[ for US Dollars? Euros? both?] at only half its official exchange rate value.
